Partner/co-designer/spokesperson for the Windsor Neckwear Alfred Edmond Jr. Collection

Whether providing multimedia brand leadership for Black Enterprise, talking Money Matters on American Urban Radio Networks and the Doug Banks Radio Show, delivering business expertise on CNN and MSNBC, speaking before thousands at a conference, or inspiring a loyal social media following on Twitter and Facebook, Alfred A. Edmond Jr. delivers enthusiasm, inspiration, substance, a commitment to uplifting others and an unmistakable sense of personal style—marked by his signature accessory, the hand-tied bow tie. Edmond’s passion for “standing out while fitting in” drives the style and design vision, featuring traditional patterns reimagined with a bold color palette, for the Alfred Edmond Jr. Collection of bow tie and men’s accessories line for Windsor Neckwear.

“My mother, who raised four children as a single divorcee on public assistance, laid the foundation for my sense of style. By the time I was 10 years old, she ditched our clip-ons and taught my brother and I how to hand tie our ties,” Edmond explains. “She planted the seeds for the idea that your outward presentation should credibly reflect your inner substance as a person.”

“My passion for personal style grew when I began my magazine editing career at the now defunct men’s fashion lifestyle magazine MBM/Modern Black Men, when an early career goal was to become the first Black editor at GQ or Esquire,” he continues. “That passion fully matured at Black Enterprise, where professional style and quality attire is a major part of the corporate culture and entrepreneurial brand vision of our founder, Earl Graves Sr.”

“My partnership with Windsor Neckwear represents a professional and business opportunity to indulge my love of style, while honoring a passionate belief, shared by both my mother and Mr. Graves, that my outward presentation is not just about image, but about my spirit and substance as a man, my inner confidence, authenticity, talent, strength and knowledge of my own value and ability. I hope to share this style philosophy with others who want to express their individuality and aspire to personal excellence, and I greatly appreciate Windsor Neckwear Co-Founders Michael McPherson and Mace Neal for seeing the value of partnering with me to do so.”
